Andi Amri presents "The Future of UNHAS-CDU Relations: Exploring the Potential Collaborations in Academic Partnership and Staff Mobility"
Supported by an Australian Government Endeavour Fellowship during 2017, Andi Amri is going to deliver a presentation that will consider the potential of future collaborations between CDU and Hasanuddin University (UNHAS). His presentation will include his research interests, UNHAS Profile and Networks as well as explore the potential collaborations in academic partnership and staff mobility for both UNHAS-CDU and other partner institutions.
Ir. Andi Amri, Ph.D., Associate Professor at Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University, obtained his Ph.D in Southeast Asian Area Studies, Kyoto University in 2005. His research interests and experiences are mainly focused on Southeast Asian Area Studies, Coastal and Marine Resource Governance, Sustainable Coastal Aquaculture, Mangrove Conservation and Management, Community Development, and Political Ecology. He is a member of various international organizations, such as International Association of the Study of the Commons, Global Forum on Oceans, Coasts and Islands, Global Alliance of Mangrove Restoration, and Kyoto International Consortium for Asian Studies. He is also served as Director of International Office, Hasanuddin University and Chairman of Forum for International Offices 2016 (Forum KUI) working for internationalization of higher education and promoting scholar and student mobility in Indonesia.
