Felicity Watt

Biography

Felicity has a background working with spatial information in a natural resource management context. She has undertaken extensive field work across the Tropical Savannas and in other regions of Australia. Felicity has worked with the Northern Territory Government, contributing to research into biodiversity conservation issues and, more recently, a variety of aspects of fire management including emissions abatement. In addition to roles in the public service, she has worked in the private sector and with non-government organisations.

Working with Peter Jacklyn, Felicity manages the InfoAccess project which incorporates the NT NRMĀ INFONET and Land Manager websites. These sites aim to meet the NRMĀ information needs of land managers. INFONET provides a summary of key natural resources values for any area of land in the Northern Territory; Land Manager is designed to be a clearinghouse of information on land management issues across Northern Australia.
