Research Interest

The ecological benefits of marine protected areas are relatively well recognized, however, the contributions of marine protected areas to improve the livelihoods of coastal villagers are still in debate. To address this issue, the sustainable livelihood approach is used as a basis of analysis to explore the complexity of  livelihoods in Pantar Island and to what extent they will be affected once the protected
