Assessment of major spring systems in the Oolloo Dolostone Daly River

Assessment of major spring systems in the Oolloo Dolostone Daly River

This project will contribute to aims of the OSP by providing data and models describing surface water-groundwater interconnectivity in key sites of the Oolloo aquifer system. Soil vegetation structure and water use characteristics topographic and romotely sensing data will be used to calibrate point and sub-catchment scale models to describe links between surface water and groundwater resources. Understanding relationships between soil type vegetation land use topograhy and recharge processes is essential to manage the groundwater resource of this basin
